This morning I went to the gym. I promised myself that I'm not going to go all "gung-hoe" again, in the hopes that I won't flop at going again. I had a great work-out! Lots of Cardido. I've decided to concentrate on cardio for the time being and then start doing weights again once I get into going to the gym. I dropped Josiah into an already overloaded, baby crying, babysitting at the gym. Luckily I had left Natalia at home with Daddy. He absolutly LOVES it there! (Note: The other day I went over to my little sister's house. We were going out that evening and I needed a pair of pants. Well, I borrowed a pair from her - Size 28 waist! I couldn't believe it! I'm a big boned girl, so that is a really small size for me. But I've noticed lately that all my pants are fitting huge and bagging up around the waist. I guess I've been buying the wrong size... Even the new shorts I bought 2 weeks ago seem to be huge. I'm not doing anything different, but it sure feels good!) After the gym, I came home and Adam took his Mom to Chemo. She only has 1 treatment left after today's. She's been feeling pretty rough lately. Just totally exhausted. And her vains are collapsing so the nurses are having a difficult time inserting the IV - yuck! While I was home alone with the kids I decided to take Josiah to the store to get an ice cream. He was extactic with his Superman Icecream. We left the store, and he ate it on the way home. Well, let me tell you, Natalia was not impressed. She wanted an ice cream SO BAD, she screamed the entire way home. Poor thing! I just felt awful. She has never noticed before when Josiah has gotten something and she hasn't. Oh well, lesson learnt, there is no fooling Tally anymore. I put both kids to bed, and thankfully they both slept (wephf!). Then I headed outside to mow the lawn. All the power to me!!! That was the 2nd time in my life I've mowed the lawn. Woot! Woot! Costco was the next stop on our list, and that's when we noticed that Josiah was starting to act a little funny. He didn't want any samples! Who is this kid?! And he wanted to sit in the buggy. Very strange behavior indeed. We bought him a remote control FJ Cruiser - FUN! But are waiting to gift wrap it till we give it to him. Should be fun. After we came home, Josiah refused to eat dinner. While we were all seating and eating. That's when it began. That's all I'll say - stomach flu - YUCK! But within a few hours he was fine and running around again - strange. Guess he got all the sickness out of his system. So there you go, just a sample of how busy I am everyday, and the reason why I'm not on the internet alot anymore. And guess what - after all that, my house is still a mess!!! |
